Our Story

Some cravings are specific.

Not just hungry. Hungry for the pressed Cuban you had once in Ybor City. The jerk chicken that took three hours to smoke right. The version of a thing you tasted somewhere and haven’t stopped thinking about since.

The Founders

It started with a problem worth solving.

In 2015, Peter Ackerman and Gregg Ryan took over a little sub shop on Nashua Road in Londonderry called The Wrap Shack. Most sandwich shops offer the same ten ingredients in slightly different orders. The ones that try something interesting usually don’t offer much else. Wrap City would do both: a menu wide enough that any craving at the table has an answer, and a standard high enough that every item earns the comparison to the place it came from.

The Standard

Every item earns its spot or it doesn’t stay.

That’s not a marketing line. It’s how decisions get made. Kingston Jerk takes real cooking time to get the allspice and scotch bonnet right. Plymouth County is Thanksgiving made weekly, because some things shouldn’t only happen once a year. If an item can’t earn the comparison to where it came from, it doesn’t make the menu.

The Menu Logic

It all traces back somewhere real

Globally inspired, regionally named. Tap a place and see what we built from it, and why it earns the name.

Famous Kettle Chips

A potato held to the same rule.

They started in the back room of the first Londonderry store, hand-sliced with a manual slicer, made fresh because nothing else was good enough. Customers asked for more bags before the month was out. Today the chips are their own thing, available well beyond the sandwich shops — same standard, scaled up.

Basic. Immediate. Instinctive.

But cravings are different.

Cravings are specific.

They pull you somewhere. They make the choice for you.

Cave to the Crave.

Wrap City turns that instinct into something real — bold wraps, fresh ingredients, stacked flavor, and food that feels worth it.

Not just fast. Not just filling.

Craveable.
